The Equity Weather Station tells it like it is no matter what room you’re in. The 7 inch tall and 2 3/4 inches wide station displays the temperature, the time and the date. All on a digital LCD panel set in a sleek black case with silver accents.
The station is a useful accessory to any room. Stand it on a table or shelf, or easily remove the included stand to hang it on a wall. Either way you’ll appreciate the quartz accuracy, the convenient features of the digital clock and definitive thermometer report.
The pleasant green backlight activates for 5 seconds (when the snooze/light button is pressed) illuminating the LCD panel. The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour mode, and the indoor and outdoor temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C. Calendar information is pre-programmed for year 2009 through 2069, and the weekday is displayed as a 3-letter abbreviation in your choice of German, Italian, English, French or Spanish. The weekday abbreviation updates automatically as the date is set.
The integral memory records maximum and minimum values for both indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. These values can be instantly displayed at the push of a button. Minimum and maximum temperatures are stored and updated until the memory is reset. You can initiate independent resets for minimum and temperature records at any time simply by pushing a button. The outdoor (remote) temperature sensor/transmitter is included and has a maximum transmission range of 100 feet (30 meters) in open space with no interference.
The daily alarm on this clock has an available snooze function. Pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button when the alarm beeps silences the alarm and resets it to sound again in 9 minutes. The clock is powered by two AA alkaline batteries. The remote is powered by two AAA batteries. If the remote will be used in temperatures below 32°F or above 122°F, lithium batteries are recommended instead of alkaline.
